Job Description
|
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, a leading pharma company,
is looking for Science graduates, preferably MBA; with at least 2 years of
experience as an RSM in specific area of speciality in any other
pharmaceutical company, or at least 3 years of experience as an ASM.
Resourceful individuals with leadership qualities; able to drive performance
in teams through inter-personal skills and processes; very good verbal and
written communication skills, effective leadership and good coaching
abilities, problem identifying and solving attitude.

- Existing Products - Sales Planning &
Budgeting
Enter monthly and annual data on prepared format
for each product for each territory and SBO for budgeting process; make
corrections to territory-wise allocation of annual and monthly targets to
regions and SBOs based on feasibility in order to ensure regional targets are
cascaded
- Existing Products - Sales Review
Review reports on Unnati to gather inputs on primary
and secondary sales performance; conduct SBO review meetings every month;
participate in RSM meetings every month and discuss trends and best
practices; attend cycle meetings conducted by PMT every quarter to discuss
any communication changes in order to keep track of every product's performance
in each month.
- Existing Products - Brand Strategy
Provide inputs on brand strategy to the marketing team;
validate ideas received by customers and SBOs; ensure execution of brand
strategy by SBO; present ideas for special promotions (e.g. Elena camp) to
NSM for approval and inform PMT in order to effectively implement brand
strategy for all existing products.
- Existing Products - Customer Relationship
Management
Gather data on top/regular customers including their
prescribing trends, contact details, perception of Dr. Reddy's; maintain
relationship with competitors to get information; conduct regular
visits/phone calls when required to build rapport with customers in order to
maintain cordial relationship with critical customers and key opinion leaders.
- Existing Products - CME
Provide inputs when required on need identification for
CME to GTM and NSM; identify KOLs/speakers for CMEs when required; coordinate
with GTMs for identification of speakers from other territories when
required; follow up with SBOs for invitations and visit territory to review
smooth conduct of programs; inform logistics requirements for key note
speakers to GTM in order to plan and execute a successful CME for customers.
- Team Development
Lead recruitment of team members along with HR. Conduct
goal setting for subordinates, conduct performance appraisal. Counsel
employees as required. Identify training needs of subordinates, keep track of
retention rate in the region; provide develop opportunities to subordinates;
Keep track of career planning and engagement of SBO in order to ensure high
performance team.
- New Product Conceptualization and Pre-Launch
Review
Gather inputs on unmet therapeutic needs from doctors
through his and team members' interaction with them; Get inputs on indication
and ingredients, positioning strategy and pricing of the product from Product
Manager; Review inputs gathered by SBOs on trends and price ranges of the
products prescribed by customers for the specific product/therapy area ;
identify target customers based on analysis of this data; estimate potential
business from each target customer; participate in launch meeting conducted
by GTM/Product Manager; approve estimates (prepared by SBOs) of stocks to be
supplied to the stockists; allocate stocks to different CFAs based on discussions
with SBOs, potential estimates and business need; follow up with PMT for
making promotional material available with the SBOs before date of launch;
Check SBOs thoroughness with product detailing including FAQs before date of
launch during launch meetings conducted by PMT in order to ensure a
successful launch of a new product.
- New Product Post Launch Audit
Review feedback gathered from doctors by SBOs during
launch; initiate corrective actions along with PMT as required in order to
troubleshoot any issues related to new product launch.
