Engineer (Digital TV)

~ 8 to 10 experience in
the cable industry, systems engineering, software design and development and
testing with Digital Cable Products.

Must have advanced
advertising experience with linear video / non-linear video editing, IP Video,
VoD (Video on Demand)
·
Set-top boxes (STB)
applications and firmware development on, e.g. - Arris, Cisco and Pace
·
Digital Video cable
headend experience, Arris and Cisco headends
·
Managing test teams and
defining test scope
·
Integration and
Deployment of digital cable products.
·
Development experience
with Web Services
·
Java and C++
·
JSON, SOAP.
·
Scripting languages -
Perl, Python.
