Application Support Advisor- Plano, TX
Dell Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of customers. We are currently recruiting for an Application Support Advisor to join our Revenue Cycle Solution's team. Dell's Revenue Cycle Solutions business works with hospitals and hospital systems where we provide both IT and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services to our customers to grow their business. Role Responsibilities
- Works in a global 24 / 7 team environment to perform request, resolve incidents and exceed customer satisfaction
- Manages, resolves and documents issues and events related to enterprise systems
- Monitors and resolves performance characteristics of applications
- Communicates with all stakeholders (leveraged technical teams, customers, development teams, end users, etc.) to address system issues
- Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability, features and performance of the system
- Learns new applications, technologies, system behavior and business processes as they relates to customer needs
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Ability to be on call during your assign shift
- Ability to prioritize and self-mange tasks and issues to meet internal and external SLAs (Service Level Agreement)
- Ability to maintain a Windows 2003, 2008 and 2012 server environment
- Ability to query and administer a SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012
- Ability to analyze files and data processing issues
- Ability to analyze data patterns and issues to reconcile multiple systems integration points
- Ability to troubleshoot IIS and .Net web application issues
- General networking knowledge like DNS, Firewall, IP address
- Ability to implement and troubleshoot FTP solutions
Preferences
- ITIL experience is preferred
- Revenue Cycle experience a plus
- SharePoint experience is a plus
- EDI and HL7 experience is a plus
