- Ability to address hardware concerns
- Experience testing new OS platforms, log, and report findings
- Demonstrate the ability to act as member of help desk support team
- Ability to triage incidents in a large multi-subnet intranet environment
- Ability to prioritize daily activities
- Responsible for documentation, and modifying specifications for existing standards as required.
- Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, dispatch and follow-up, escalating complex issues and or outages to the manager and or information technology and all appropriate channels.
- Experience interviewing users to collect information about problems and lead users through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error as well as educate and instruct end-users on various application and hardware issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management verbally and written.
