• I/S Security Administrator

I/S Security Administrator needed for a long term contract opportunity located in Columbia, South Carolina!  The I/S Security Administrator will be responsible for managing the conversion of abstract compliance data to be used as input (C Based) for the configuration baseline tool suite.  In this role you will research and examine technical compliance requirements (government mandates) and ensure that BCBS meets compliance.  You will manipulate data using SQL and scripting languages.  You will also be responsible for analyzing compliance and technical control validation data to determine and report baseline variance for all applicable technology environments.  In addition you will performs system monitoring evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with the corporate security policies and standards. 

Overtime will be required during an audit. 

Requirements: 

• Related technical experience.


• Extensive experience comparing large data sets utilizing SQL.


• C/C++ and/or Java and/or Python and/or PHP (any combination of the listed scripting languages).


• Programming background.


• Experience with UNIX and/or Windows system commands and settings.


• Experience working in a large environment.

Skills: 

• Nessus Experience.


• Tenable Security Center experience.


• Strong understanding of IT controls - FISMA/CMSR/STIG.
